Zimbabwe: Zera On the Spot Over Power Hike Delay

Energy regulator, the Zimbabwe Regulatory Authority, has been criticised for delaying approval of tariff hike requests.

The Zimbabwe Energy Council said ZERA had diverted attention from fundamental issues troubling power producers and accused it of "populism" and "political" gamesmanship that could ruin the electricity generation sector and industry.
