Sudan: Attorney-General Meets His Scottish Counterpart

Khartoum — The Attorney-General , Omer Ahmed Mohamed met , Thursday on sideline of the Criminal Justice Forum being taking place in London, Britain with his Scottish counterpart and exchanged views over the best practices in combatting crimes.

Omer presented briefing on work of the General Prosecution as an independent organ of enforcement of laws in pre-trail stage , explaining the Role of the General Prosecution in fighting crimes including the crimes of human trafficking and forced labor.

The Scottish General Prosecutor , for his part, indicated to importance of joint cooperation, exchange of information and aid for purpose of enforcement of law on crimes related to topics of the Conference.
