Sudan: Bakri , Discusses With Al-Mahdi Efforts to Boost Social Support, Curb High Prices

Khartoum — The First Vice-President of the Republic and National Prime Minister, Lt. Gen. Bakri Hassan Salih discussed with Assistant of President of the Republic, Maj. Gen. Abdul-Rahman Al-Sadiq Al-Mahdi the state endeavors to boost social support, combat soaring prices and corruption and increase production through introduction of up-to-date technologies.

The Assistant of the President said in press statements after the meeting in the Republican Palace, Wednesday that the First Vice-President stressed importance of increase of production of gold and oil and not exporting unmanufactured materials.

On national dialogue, Al-Mahdi said the meeting reaffirmed pressing ahead with implementation of the its outcome which, he said , reached 55 percent.

He emphasized the State concern with promotion of freedoms and human rights.

The Assistant of the President added that the meeting assured importance of establishing good relations with the neighboring countries and international community for the sake of interest of Sudan.
