Sudan: Assistant of the President Briefed On Arrangement for Holding the Blue Nile Leadership Gathering

Khartoum — The Assistant of the President of the Republic and Deputy chairman of the National Congress for party Affairs, Dr Faisal Hassan Ibrahim, was Monday briefed on the arrangements underway for convening the meeting of the Blue Nile Leadership, early next week

The meeting will be held at the National Assembly premises in Khartoum under the auspices of the Speaker of the National Assembly professor Ibrahim Ahmed Omar who will be addressing that opening session.

It is planed that some 200 of the top leaders of the Blue Nile region will meet to discuss working papers one about peace challenges and the other about the impact of rebellion on development in the Blue Nile state.
