Sudan: VP Chairs Meeting On Medicines Supplies in Khartoum and Gezira States

Khartoum — The Vice-President of the Republic, Hassabo Mohamed Abdul-Rahman presided over in the Republican Palace , Tuesday , a meeting medicines and medical supply in Khartoum and Gezira States in presence of Federal Health Minister, Governors of the two States and representatives of the concerned organs.

Undersecretary of Federal Health Ministry, Dr Esam-Eddin Mohamed Abdalla said in press statements that the meeting reviewed medicines supply in the Khartoum and Gezira States and relations between the federal health institutions and health institutions I the two States.

He disclosed that the Vice-President gave directive to set up a branch for the National Council of Medicines and Poisons in the two states.

Dr Esam-Eddin underscored that the measure is sufficient to enhance medicines supplies in the two States , tighten control and curb prices of medicines.
