Ethiopia: Deputy Premier Meets With UN Deputy Secretary-General

Deputy Prime Minister Demeke Mekonnen met with the Deputy Secretary-General of United Nations, Amina Mohammed, in New York yesterday.

Upon their meeting the two officials have discussed on humanitarian support of the United Nations in Ethiopia and sustainable development agendas.

They have also discussed on how to transfer and collaborate emergency relief disaster response to sustainable development.

The Deputy Premier emphasized that Ethiopia will continue its efforts to sustain sound development.

The UN Deputy Secretary-General on her part stated that the UN will maintain supporting Ethiopia's development endeavors.
