Uganda Police Has Greatly Contributed to Somalia's Security

The presence of Uganda Police Force in Somalia has greatly contributed to the security of the volatile country especially in the capital Mogadishu.

This is according to Assistant Inspector General of Police Grace Turyagumanawe who is also the Director of Peace Support Operations in the Uganda Police Force.

Turyagumanawe who is currently on a working visit aimed at assessing police personnel and equipment in the country says they have done a great job in community policing and building capacity of the Somali police.
