Algeria: 3.3-Magnitude Quake Shakes Batna

ALGIERS - An earthquake measuring 3.3 on the Richter scale hit the province of Batna (435-km east of Algiers) on Sunday at 12:56, said the National Centre of Research in Astronomy, Astrophysics and Geophysics (CRAAG) in a statement.

The epicentre was located 7 km north of Sefiane in the same province, said the CRAAG.
