Africa: Angola At Transform Africa Summit 2018

Luanda — Angola's minister of Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation Maria do Rosário Bragança Sambo is attending from 7-10 May the Transform Africa Summit 2018 in Kigali, Rwanda, on behalf of the president João Lourenço.

The information is contained in note from Institutional Communication and Press Office of the Sector, reached Angop in Luanda.

According to the source, the participants are set to find methods to achieve Africa's economic independence and healthy interdependence with the world.

Under the theme 'Accelerating Africa's Single Digital Market', the summit attracts Heads of State and Government, UN Broadband Commissioners and ministers.

Public and private sector, international organisations, industrial leaders, entrepreneurs, civil society and academia, are also attending the event.

The first Economic Forum on Transform Africa held on May 7 focused on investment opportunities and areas of collaboration.
