Zimbabwe: Mai Chisamba, Tilda Moyo Headline She Festival

Popular talk shows hosts Mai Chisamba and Tilda Moyo will headline the She Festival UK this Saturday in Birmingham.

The event, organised by Dorobucci Promotions, is a special instalment of Zimbabwean women from all walks of life, coming together to network, have fun, share experiences and inspire innovation.

Director of Ethta Events, Ethel Changa, said the event is about encouraging women in the diaspora to reach their full potential and make an impact, not only in the UK but across the globe.

"Every woman has a mandate and a purpose. As women we are all born to fulfil our purpose and make an impact in the world and this event is about empowering the 'She' in every woman," Changa said in a statement.

She added, "We all have stories to share, experiences about life, love, family and business and this platform has been created to give every woman a voice and to encourage them, because as women, we all have something in us that the world already appreciates."

Zim dancehall artist, Tocky Vibes is part of the entertainment line-up set to create a buzz while Mai Chisamba real name Rebecca Tsikirayi will be the keynote speaker.

Other speakers include, businesswoman Fungai Ndemera, property mogul Julie Condliffe, Immigration lawyer Rumbi Bvunzawabaya and TV presenter auntie Jenny.

A spokesperson for Dorobucci Promotions said that there is a surprise guest speaker who will be revealed on the day.

"The event is coming together as planned and is promising to be a fun, dynamic and engaging event," said the spokesperson.

"We have a revered and much-loved surprise guest speaker who will be attending but we want to keep our guests in suspense and are hopeful that they will be equally as excited about them as we are."

Organisers have encouraged the public to get their tickets as there are limited numbers left.

Tickets are available for £69.99 and can be bought exclusively from http://bit.ly/SHEFESTIVAL2018.
