Azhar Grand Imam Ahmed el Tayyeb on Monday 14/5/2018 condemned the Israeli brutal crimes against Palestinian peaceful protests at the Gaza Strip border.

In a statement, Al Azhar hailed the valiant struggle and the great sacrifices made by the Palestinian people to liberate their lands, secure sanctities and establish an independent state with Al-Quds as its capital.

El-Tayyeb denounced the failure of the international community to carry out its legal and moral duties to stop these brutal crimes.

Al Azhar called on the Arabs and Muslims, as well as fair and wise people worldwide to support the unarmed Palestinian people.
