Tanzania: This Is How Much Tanzania's Livestock Ministry Received for Development - Zero.

Dodoma — The Minister for Livestock and Fisheries Mr Luhaga Mpina said in Parliament on Thursday that by April, no money was released out of the Sh4 billion allocated for development expenditure in the current financial year.

His ministry's budget was Sh35.6 billion with Sh31.6 billion being for recurrent expenditure.

Mr Mpina has tabled his budget for 2018/19 requesting Sh56.45 billion on Thursday.

Out of the money, Sh12.1 billion will be development budget.

Sh5 billion will finance development projects in livestock sector while Sh7.1 billion is for fisheries development in the next financial year.
