Egypt: 1st Meeting of Egyptian-Jordanian Consular Committee Concludes in Cairo

The first session of the Egyptian-Jordanian Consular Committee concluded in Cairo on Thursday .

In statements, Assistant Foreign Minister Khalid Yousri said that the two sides, during the committee's meeting, agreed on boosting consultations between relevant parties and diplomatic channels in the two countries .

They also agreed on strengthening cooperation to achieve the goal of setting up the joint consular committee, he added .

They also agreed on improving the conditions of the Egyptian community in Jordan and the Jordanian community in Egypt and removing all problems facing them, Yousri said .

For his part, Jordanian Ambassador Ahed Sweidat lauded the level of existing coordination between the two countries in the various domains.
