Kampala, Uganda — The International Trade Centre, a joint cooperation agency of United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and World Trade Organisation charged with the responsibility of development trade, has unveiled a new project aimed at increasing competitiveness of Uganda's technology companies.
Based in Geneva, Switzerland, ITC'S Trust Fund IV project seeks to strengthen competitiveness of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in the country's information technology (IT) and IT-enabled services (ITES) sectors through funding and skills enhancement.
