South Africa: ANC and President of South Africa Invited As Guest of the Muslim Community for Ramadaan Iftaar Programme

The African National Congress President, Comrade Cyril Ramaphosa, will on Wednesday, 30 May 2018 undertake his first ever Iftaar programme and share in a meal ( breaking of fast) hosted by the Muslim Judicial Council in Rylands Estate, Cape Town.

The Muslim Judicial Council has throughout the years, hosted ANC Presidents and of the country for Iftaar during the holy month of Ramadan, starting with the late Comrade Nelson Mandela.

The iftaar programme has since become a tradition and this will be President Ramaphosa's maiden Iftaar since his election as the ANC President and country.
