Angola: Plastic Factory Starts Activities in Humpata

Humpata — At least 15 new jobs were created with the opening over the weekend of a plastic planted dubbed Huíla Packaging-SA in Humpata municipality, southern Huila province a 5, 8 million Namibian dollars investment.

The factory, which was built with Namibian capitals, has five production lines with capacity to daily produce 50,000 plastic sacks for supermarkets and shoppings all over the country.

Speaking to the press on the fringes of the factory's inauguration, the manger of the manufacturer, Marília Deysel, said it is ready to manufacture big quantities of products such as, trash bin and packages for water factories.

On the occasion, the governor of Huíla province, João Marcelino Tyipinge, said the opening of the factory the consolidation and strengthening of the economic relation aimed at boosting both countries' economic growth.
