Nigeria: Buhari Has No Challenger in 2019 - South-South Leader

Asaba — The leader of President Muhammadu Buhari Campaign Organisation (BCO) in the South South geopolitical zone, Hon. Tare Amatare, has said that the president will win the 2019 presidential election convincingly.

Hon. Amatare in an interview with journalists in Warri, yesterday, stated that President Buhari would win resoundingly to the extent that the opposition would congratulate him.

He challenged critics of the Buhari administration to mention any past administration or government that had fought corruption since 1960 as the Buhari government was doing.

According to Amatare, his people of Ijaw ethnic group supported past presidents Shehu Shagari, Olusegun Obasanjo and Goodluck Jonathan and therefore Buhari could not be an exception.

"I'm Ijawman and I will talk to my people. Now it is Buhari, we must join the bandwagon. I'm flesh and blood Buhari. My people cannot and they have never been in opposition; I will go everywhere in Ijawland to campaign for Mr President," he said.
