Nigeria: Jonathan's Kinsmen Back Dickson's Public Service Reforms

Yenagoa — Kinsmen of former President Goodluck Jonathan have expressed support for the ongoing public sector reforms embarked upon by the Bayelsa State government.Political appointees, lawmakers, women groups, students and youth leaders, as well as traditional rulers including the Obanobahn of Ogbia Kingdom, King Charles Owaba, were among those who endorsed the reforms at a Town Hall Meeting in Ogbia.

The people said they were happy with Governor Seriake Dickson's reforms but charged the state government to show more seriousness in implementing the process by prosecuting those found culpable of infringements.
