Somalia: Religious Affairs Minister Hussein Sacked

Somalia Prime Minister Hassan Ali Khaire on Monday sacked Religious Affairs and Endowment Hassan Moallim Hussein less than two months after his appointment.

Radio Dalsan has leanrt that Hussein's sacking followed a fallout the minister with Hajj travel agencies in Somalia. Sources say the decision to sack the minister came after he allegedly failed to implement government policy to expand competition between companies providing Hajj services to pilgrims.
