Kenya: CS Amina to Appear Before MPs Committee Over Ruaraka Land

Nairobi — Education Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohamed will on Monday appear before the Senate County Public Accounts and Investments Committee over the controversial Ruaraka land scandal.

Mohamed is expected to shed light on the role played by the ministry in the acquisition of allotment letters for the land in question, where Ruaraka High School and Drive-inn Primary School are situated.

The two schools currently have no title deeds to the parcels they occupy.

In a recent development, businessman Francis Mburu has come out claiming that the land belongs to him.
