Angola: Constitutional Court Bans Casa-Ce President From Creating Other Parties

Luanda — The decisions of Abel Chivukuvuku, as president of CASA-CE, cannot overlap with those of the associated parties, such as creating new political parties within the coalition, the Constitutional Court dictated on August 14, 2018.

The decision of the Constitutional Court also voids the role of the alleged "independents" members of CASA-CE, concluding that they cannot be part of the Presidential Committee of the coalition, as it is the case, for example, of Lindo Bernardo Tito.
