Angola: Train Collision Claims 17 Lives in Namibe

Luanda — At least 17 people were killed in a collision between two trains, which took place today, in Bibala, Munhino, Namibe province.

One of the trains is freight transportation.

The governor of Namibe, Carlos da Rocha Cruz, said that a technical team of the Moçamedes Railways is at the scene of the accident.

The injured people were evacuated to the Bibala municipal hospital, 180 kilometers away.
