Nigeria: Borno Cholera Death Toll Rises to 18

Maiduguri — Four more people have died of cholera in Borno State.This takes the number of deaths from cholera outbreak in the North East state to 18 from 14, as 300 new cases were recorded from September 5 to 7, 2018.

National public information officer of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UN-OCHA), Abiodun Banire, stated in Maiduguri yesterday that the 300 additional cases were recorded in eight new councils.
