Luanda — The minister of Culture, Carolina Cerqueira, is since Wednesday in Saint Petersburg, Russia, participating in the Second EuroAsia Women's Forum.

According to a note from the Culture Ministry, the event - which is to be attended by distinguished African female personalities - includes forums on economy, experience of parliamentarians, as well as debates on sustainable development and global security.
At the panel on "women and social progress", Carolina Cerqueira will deliver a lecture on museums as cultural centres par excellence.
One of the main panels will be on "women and culture, between tradition and innovation", at which participants are to exchange experiences having into account the present realities and challenges.
The Angolan delegation comprises staff from the Culture Ministry and the counsellor minister of the Angolan Embassy in Russia, Gonçalves Miguel.
