Ethiopian Airlines' new passenger terminal has started providing initial services.
The passenger terminal is part of an expansion project to ease congestion at Bole International Airport. The current terminal was built to accommodate five million passengers annually.
The new terminal will have a capacity to accommodate 20 million passengers a year when it is fully operational.
The expansion project has reached 83pc completion, according to Tewolde Gebremariam, the airline's group CEO.
The construction of the terminal is finishing up in the west side of Bole International Airport. The eastern part is completed and has commenced service.
