The assessment is being undertaken to identify resources owned by the enterprise, cooperation areas and the number of shares to be auctioned.

The enterprise is working together with the advisory council, which was set up by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD), according to Roba Megerssa, CEO of the Enterprise.

Formed last August, the council has 24 members.

Last June, the ruling party announced its decision to open telecommunications, logistics, the railway, aviation and railway, among other sectors, to the private sector.
