Kenya: Court to Decide If Owner of Londiani Killer Bus Will Remain in Custody

Nairobi — A Court in Molo will on Friday determine whether police will continue to hold the owner of the Londiani killer bus following the death of 56 people in a road accident.

This is after the Londiani Base commander presented an affidavit asking for more time to finish investigating the accident.

Magistrate Samuel Wahome will make a ruling whether the bus owner Cleophas Shimanyula and one of the directors of Western Cross Express Sacco which owns the fleet will remain in custody.

They will also face charges of being accessories to the killings that occurred when the overloaded bus crashed on the Londiani-Muhoroni road.
