Africa: Minister Lindiwe Sisulu Attends Ministerial Meeting for Bi-National Commission Between South Africa and DRC

Minister of International Relations and Cooperation will today, 14 October 2018, travel to Kinshasa for the Ministerial Meeting in preparation for the 11th Session of the Bi-National Commission (BNC) between South Africa and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) scheduled for Tuesday, 16 October 2018.

The BNC between South Africa and the DRC was established in 2004 essentially to promote political, economic, and social co-operation between. The 10th Session of the BNC was held in South Africa in 2017.

Since the establishment of the BNC, the two countries have strengthened their bilateral cooperation in various fields such as Diplomatic Cooperation, Public Service and Administration, Defence and Police.
