Malawi: Police Arrest Mzuzu Man, 35, Accused of Sexual Attack On 3 Girls

Malawi Police have arrested a 35-year-old man in Mzuzu on allegations that he sexually assaulted three girls under the age of eight.

Northern Region police Assistant spokesman Maurice Chapola confirmed the arrest of the man from Zakhanya Village, Traditional Authority Kampingo Sibande in Mzimba.

Chapola said the suspect enticed the girls with money and a snack.

He said the suspect was arrested after the girls reported the matter to their respective parents.

He has been charged with defilement.
