Sudan: Bakri Informed On Performance of Committee for Collection of Illegal Weapons

Khartoum — The First Vice - President of the Republic, Lt. Gen. Bakri Hassan Salih, received in his office Thursday the rapporteur of the higher committee for collection of illegal weapons and vehicles, Ahmed Abdalla Al-Naw and reviewed the committee's performance in the past period.

In a press statement, Lt. Gen. Al-Naw said that the past period witnessed intensive work of the higher committee and its branches, referring to the legalization of over 40,000 four-wheel drive vehicles which have been used in smuggling, human trafficking and transportation of drugs.
