Nigeria: Insurgents Kill One, Displace 1,300 in Borno Fresh Attacks

Maiduguri — Residents take part in the burial procession for one of the farmers killed by Boko Haram militants in Kalle, a remote village 17 kilometres outside the state capital of Maiduguri at the weekend. Boko Haram members hacked 12 farmers to death as they worked on their fields in the community.

The National Emergency Management Agency yesterday confirmed that the Saturday's attacks by Boko Haram on villages in Borno State left one person dead and 1,300 others displaced.
