Juba — The Director of South Sudan Department at the Foreign Ministry, Ambassador Awadal-Karim Al-Rayah, said that the South Sudan celebration marking the signing of the peace agreement between the disputed parties is the beginning of implementation of the peace deal which was concluded in Khartoum, under auspices of the President of the Republic Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, as well as underlining the seriousness of the South Sudanese parties to work for the sustainability of peace and stability.
The Ambassador said in a statement to SUNA that success of Sudan mediation in helping the South Sudanese parties reach final peace agreement in Khartoum provided ample opportunity for improving the relations between Khartoum and Juba, solving the outstanding issues between the two countries and implementing cooperation agreements between the two countries, which had been ratified by legislative bodies in Sudan and South Sudan State.
