Sudan: Wife of President Attends Meeting of Working Women Association's Board of Trustees

Khartoum — The wife of the President of the Republic and Chairwoman of the Working Women Association in Sudan, Dr Widada Babiker attended Thursday evening at Police House in Burri In Khartoum meeting of the Association's Board of Trustees.

The meeting was attended by Minister of Security and Social Development, Engineer Widad Yaqoub and Chairman of the Sudanese Workers Trade Unions Federation(SWTUF), Engineer Yousif Abdul-Karim

The Association' Secretary-General, Amna Omer said in a statement to SUNA that the Board of Trustees reviewed work of the Association and approved after discussions a report of performance.

She added that the meeting reaffirmed importance of training and raising capacity of working women in Sudan internally and externally along with introducing projects which can contribute to increasing production and productivity.
