Cameroon: President Paul Biya Has Taken Oath of Office

The ceremony took place at the National Assembly in Yaounde this morning

President Paul Biya has taken the Oath of office for another seven years. The colourful ceremony that took place in Yaounde at the National Assembly brought together high profile dignitaries from the nock and crannies of the country.

During the crowd pulling ceremony, President Paul Biya made several promises like the amelioration of working conditions of civil servants, revamp the agricultural sector and larger autonomy to the English speaking regions of Cameroon.
