Sudan: Minister of Justice Meets With Arab Ambassadors

Khartoum — The Minister of Justice, Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Salim, received in his office Tuesday ambassadors of the Arab countries who are accredited to Khartoum in the context of the arrangements for holding the conference of Arab Ministers in Khartoum during November 21 - 22 at the Friendship Hall and under auspices of the President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir.

At the meeting, the minister has informed the Arab ambassadors on the tasks of his ministry in the legal fields of human rights, supervision of the trade work, registration of companies and the ministry's role in enactment of laws and legislations, affirming independence of the Judiciary in Sudan.

Meanwhile, the Arab ambassadors have appreciated convocation of the conference in Khartoum and confirmed their conveying to invitations for the ministers of justice in their respective countries for taking part in the conference.
