Khartoum — The First Vice-President of the Republic, Gen. Bakri Hassan Salih has underscored the state support to University of Holy Quran and Authentication of Sciences in Gezira State to carry out its role towards the community.
The First Vice -President was briefed, during meeting at the Republican Palace Wednesday with delegation of the University led by its Vice-Chancellor , Dr Mahmoud Mahdi Al-Sharif, on progress of sessions of the Fourth International Conference on Islamic Economy organized by the University.
Dr Al-Sharif said in a press statement that the delegation acquainted the First Vice-President on the University role towards Holy Quran and authentication of its sciences.
He noted that the University of Holy Quran and Authentication of Sciences has become one of the outstanding Sudanese universities with number of students reached 20,000.
