Khartoum — President of the Republic, Field Marsjhal Omer Al-Bashir, retuned home Wednesday after participation in the closing activities of the World Youth Forum which was held in Sharm-Al-Sheikh, Egypt, at official invitation from the President of Egypt, Abdul-Fattah Al-Sisi.
He was received at Khartoum airport by the First Vice-President of the Republic, Lt. Gen. Bakri Hassan Salih, and a number of ministers.
The Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Osama Faisal, said in a press statement that the visit was fruitful and constructive in strengthening further the fraternal ties between the two peoples, disclosing that the President of the Republic has commended the good arrangements and organization of the World Youth Forum as well as its outcome and recommendations.
He stated that the visit provided an opportunity for the Sudanese and Egyptian sides to deliberate about various issues of joint cooperation between Sudan and Egypt.
The minister added that the visit has revitalized spirit of constructive cooperation and mutual understanding between Sudan and Egypt.
