Sometime in March this year, James Mugo Ndichu, who passes himself off as Dr Mugo wa Wairimu, was desperate.

Police were keeping a close eye on him after he was caught on tape sexually assaulting a sedated woman inside his clinic in Githurai in 2015. He needed a new cover for his predatory activities.
