Nigeria: Atseye, Madueke in Doubles Quarterfinals As Organisers Explain Change in Format

Henry Atseye and Nonso Madueke, who won the doubles title last year, yesterday qualified for the quarterfinals of the on-going Second Rainoil Tennis Championship by beating Uche Oparaoji and Chima Michael in three sets of 6-3, 3-6, 10-7. The competition is holding at the Tennis Section of the Ikoyi Club.

To qualify for the semifinals, Atseye and Madueke must beat the pair of Michael Michael and Ambrose Michael, who conquered Taiwo Owolabi and Emmanuel Sunday 6-3, 6-3 in the last round.
