Cameroon: State Universities - Special Recruitment of 2,000 Lecturers Clarified

The Minister of High Education granted a press conference in Yaounde on November 14, 2018 on the morrow of the order by President Paul Biya to recruit PhD/Doctorate holders.

The Minister, Secretary General at the Presidency of the Republic, Ferdinand Ngoh Ngoh in a press release on November 13, 2018 said the President of the Republic, Paul Biya has just ordered a special recruitment of 2,000 PhD/Doctorate holders as lecturers in Cameroon's State Universities. President Biya's order specifies that the recruitment is opened to graduates resident in Cameroon and abroad, and will be conducted in three years with effect from 2019.
