Nigeria: Arts and Craft Expo Opens Today in Abuja

The 11th edition of the International Arts and Crafts Expo (INAC) organised by the National Council for Arts and Culture will officially kick off today by 12 noon in Abuja.

A statement by the council said the Expo with the theme: 'Networking Nigerian Crafts to the World' will hold at the FCT exhibition pavilion beside the International Conference Centre.

According to the statement, dignitaries expected at the ceremony include Minister of the FCT Mohammad Musa Bello as chairman of the occasion, Sam Nda Isaiah (Publisher, Leadership Newspaper) as Special Guest of Honour; and Minister of Women Affairs Aisha Abubakar as Mother of the Day.

Emir of Zazzau Dr Shehu Idris is Royal Father of the Day, while the Minister of Information Culture and Tourism, Alh. Lai Mohammed will be the Chief Host.

The Director-General of the NCAC, who is also the host of the occasion, Otunba Segun Runsewe, said the exhibition will be a new window of networking Nigeria to the entire world.
