Tanzania: Cashew Growers Paid 4.58bn/-, As Optimism On Rise

A TOTAL of 4,871 cashew nut farmers in southern regions have been paid a total of 4.58bn/-.so far, for their consignments that had been stored in warehouses.

Plus, by yesterday, the number of Agricultural, Marketing Cooperative Societies (Amcos) that were verified for payments had increased to 83, up from 35 announced on Saturday by the Minister of Agriculture, Mr Japhet Hasunga.
