Sulu bids fans farewell at East Point

Dendera musician Suluman Chimbetu will tonight stage a 'farewell' show ahead of his flight to South Africa where he is expected to perform tomorrow. The farewell show is set for East Point in the city centre. The venue, which became popular as Jazz 105 some years ago, keeps promoting local musicians and Sulu has performed there many times.

Juntal takes totems to City Sports Bar

Rising musician Juntal of the "Mutupo" fame will tonight be at City Sports Bar in the city centre. The musician is one of local artistes that fell in love with rhumba music and he is fusing it with his own style. He is known for good stage work and fans will be looking forward to a memorable night.

Hip-hop at Theatre in the Park

Some of the best artists in the hip--hop genre are set to share a stage at the inaugural of Mumhanzi night to be held at Theatre in the Park tonight. Crooger, Kikky Badass, Marcuques, MC Chita, R Peels and Tulk Munny among many others are some of the artists that will headline what promises to be one of the biggest nights on the Zimbabwe Hip--hop calendar.

BV Labien Musica goes to Red Café

Rhumba outfit BV Labien Musica will be at Red Café in the city centre tomorrow night. The group, that is popular for hit "Madzaumbe", will be out to prove that local stars can shake any rhumba stage. They are known for their "malabel chete" act that has mesmerized many.

Another Dendera affair in city centre

As Sulu performs at East Point tonight, his cousin Tryson Chimbetu will be at Red Café. It is likely to be a battle of dendera tunes in the city and fans of the genre will definitely have to choose between the two. The musicians have different tactics on stage.
