Central Africa: Angola At Culture Ministers of Central Africa Meeting

Luanda — An Angolan delegation headed by the Culture minister, Carolina Cerqueira, is participating in the meeting of the Culture ministers of Central Africa taking place in Brazzaville, Congo.

The meeting expected to last until November 30, is being held under the motto the development and promotion of the culture in Central Africa and focus on cultural policies of the region, promotion of the creative's and cultural industries to promote economy of culture and creation of regional structures that promotes the cultural sector.

The meeting is being attended by all the member countries except Gabon, whose minister is absent due to political change in his country as well the Culture minister of São Tomé and Príncipe.

The Angolan delegation is made up by the National director of National Languages,, José Pedro, the director of exchange department, Suzana de Sousa, and cultural Attaché in Congo.
