Ethiopia: Italian Deputy Foreign Minister to Visit Ethiopia

Addis Ababa — Deputy Foreign Minister of Italy Emanuela Del Re is expected to arrive in Addis Ababa today for a four-day visit.

During her visit in Ethiopia, the minister will meet and hold talks with Foreign Minister Workneh Gebeyehu and officials of the ministries of Finance, Agriculture as well as Trade and Industry.

She will also visit the Italian Cultural Center in Addis Ababa and Ethiopian Leather and Leather Products Technology Institute (LLPTI), which was launched with the support of the Italian government.

The Deputy Minister will also meet members of the Italian community residing in Ethiopia and Italian investors operating in the country, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

She is in the Horn of Africa visiting Eritrea, Ethiopia and Djibouti, for a win-win cooperation.

The Deputy Minister has been visiting Eritrea since December 3. She will conclude her visit to the region in Djibouti on the 9th of December.
