Bongo flava star Diamond Platnumz mother Bi Sanura Sandra is impressed with his son's hurried wedding plans to Kenyan beau Tanasha Donna.

Diamond and the NRG radio presenter started dating about two months ago and are already planning to wed next year on Valentine's Day.

Last week, the singer officially announced the dates saying his wedding to Tanasha will be a four day affair.

When Bi Sandra was asked of what she thinks of her son's hurried wedding, she said she has no objection, expressing her excitement at his son's new catch.

"Kama mwanangu amemuona anamfaa basi nipo radhi amuoe maana umri wake unaendana na umri wa kumuoa," Bi Sandra said.

Tanasha, ex-girlfriend to Kenyan actor Nick Mutuma, is 22 years, seven years younger than Diamond.

The singer's elder sister Esma Khan has also given her blessing to the wedding. However she has warned Tanasha not to be like his brothers ex-girlfriends.

"Nimemkubali wifi yangu kwa sababu Nasibu (Diamond) mwenyewe ndiye amesema anamuona na ameridhiana naye. Kikubwa ninwaombea kheri tu asiwe kama wengine ili na mimi nipate wifi wa halali" Esma said.

Esma and her mother were not fond of Diamond's ex Hamisa Mobetto with whom he had a son.

Mother and sister are said to have been behind Diamond's break up with Hamisa because he listens to them a lot.

Wema Sepetu, another of Diamond ex girklfriend, suffered the same fate after Bi Sandra disapproved of her because of her numerous affairs within the Tanzanian entertainment industry.
