Angola: Finance Institute to Continue Training Journalists

Huambo — The Public Finance Institute (INFORFIP) will continue to train journalists in several issues related to public finance, so as to enable them to better inform the citizens on the ongoing reforms in the sector.

This was said on Tuesday by the institute's director, Paulo Ringote, while addressing the closing ceremony of a seminar aimed for journalists of the public and private media outlets of the central Huambo province.

"It is our goal to continue with these trainings, covering other themes of interest of the sector, for media professionals to be provided with the best knowledge and analytic tools", underlined the school manager.

To the local acting Finance delegate, João Bastos, in the face of the complexity of the issues related to public finance, such initiatives will enable to spread in a clear and simple way, the actions being carried out by the Angolan government to relaunch the productive sector and diversify the country's economy.
