The mother of one says she has gotten used to being referred to as 'Bahati's aunty' by haters who have never approved their union.
Diana Marua, wife to gospel singer Kevin Bahati, has revealed that it no longer bothers her to be repeatedly mocked for being married to a younger husband.
The mother of one stated that she has gotten used to being referred to as 'Bahati's aunty' by haters who have never approved their union.
Diana however admitted that such snide remarks were a major challenge during the initial stage of their marriage.
"I'm only two years older than Bahati. It used to get to me but what matters right now is how he takes care of me. He is the head of the house regardless of my age. I respect that boundary. I respect him as a husband," Diana said.
Previously, Bahati has defended the age difference between him and his wife, stating that he had always wanted to marry an older lady because they are less stressful.
The two lovebirds got married a year ago and are the main characters of the TV reality show Being Bahati which focuses on their daily lives.
