Addis Ababa — The Federal High Court has granted police additional days for further investigation on the cases of individuals suspected of corruption and human rights violation.
The 10th criminal bench has granted additional time as per the request of police.
Police has requested 14 days on the case of Major General Kinfe Dagnew and his brother Esayas Dagnew, explaining the importance of conducting further investigation.
After hearing both sides, the court has granted police the 14 days it requested in the case of Major General Kinfe Dagnew.
However, the court granted additional 10 days for further investigation on the case of Esayas Dagnew.
The court has also granted police additional 14 days to make further investigation into the case of Yared Zerihune and Tesfaye Urgae, both suspected in crimes related to human rights violation.
