Kenya: Explosions, Gunfire in Nairobi's Dusit Hotel

At least 50 more people have been rescued from the Dusit Hotel complex by security officers on Wednesday, January 15, 2019.

Explosions and gunfire rocked a hotel in Kenya's capital on Tuesday. There was no immediate word on casualties. Live video from the scene, broadcast by the Associated Press, showed a pair of vehicles burning and sending up black smoke outside the Dusit Hotel. The crackle of gunfire and sounds of police sirens could be heard in the background, and security forces were seen carrying two people from the premises.
